The short version The calculator runs entirely in your browser — the numbers you type are never sent to us or stored by us. Like most free websites, we show ads, and Google AdSense uses cookies to do that. Our analytics is cookieless. You can opt out of personalized ads below.

Who we are

WagesCalc.com ("we," "us") is a free online wage and salary calculator. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. For questions, contact us at [email protected].

What we collect — and what we don't

Calculator inputs: salaries, hourly rates, hours, and any other numbers you enter are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. They are not transmitted to, logged by, or stored on our servers.

Standard server logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, and keeping the site running, per Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What we never collect: we do not ask for, and do not want, your name, email address, employer, pay stubs, or any account information. There are no sign-ups on this site.

Advertising

We display advertisements to keep the site free. Our advertising partner Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and device identifiers) to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites.

Cookies and consent

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. On this site, the only cookies come from Google AdSense — the calculator sets none, and our analytics is cookieless. Where required by law (for example, in the EEA and UK), we show a consent banner and load advertising cookies only after you agree. You can withdraw or change consent at any time via the banner, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculator will keep working fully without them.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage such as page views, referral sources, and load times. It is privacy-first by design: it sets no cookies, uses no client-side state, and does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites. It does not build a profile of you, and we cannot use it to identify you. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for details.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will address it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data — such as access, deletion, correction, or opting out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined by laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or the EU/UK GDPR. Because we do not maintain accounts or databases of visitor information, most such data resides with our advertising and hosting partners; we will assist with requests where we can. California residents may also use the ad-industry opt-outs linked above, and the consent banner where shown, to opt out of personalized advertising ("Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information").

Data security and retention

The site is served over HTTPS. Since calculator inputs never leave your device, there is nothing for us to retain. Server logs held by our hosting provider are retained according to their standard policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or applicable laws change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
